Senior DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our cloud team, collaborating closely with our partner to serve a high-profile customer in the telecommunications sector. This role is critical in ensuring that our cloud infrastructure meets the demanding needs of our telecom client. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our cloud team, focusing on building and maintaining a resilient and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work in collaboration with our partner and directly impact our telecommunications client by ensuring their systems are efficient, secure, and reliable. Your expertise in Kubernetes, PaaS, automation, and related technologies will be crucial for the success of this project.

- Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters to support telecommunications applications.
- Implement and maintain solutions tailored to the needs of the telecom sector.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible for streamlined infrastructure and application deployments.
- Configure and manage cloud network architectures to ensure secure and efficient communication for telecom services.
- Implement best practices for securing containerized applications and Kubernetes environments.
- Utilize virtualization technologies to optimize resource usage and scalability in the telecom domain

- Extensive experience with Kubernetes in production environments, particularly for telecommunications applications.
- Hands-on experience with PaaS technologies and platforms.

•   Proficiency in automation tools, specifically Ansible.
• Strong background in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking principles and best practices.
• Solid experience in configuring and managing Nginx.
• Knowledge of container security practices and tools.
• Experience in deploying and managing applications on OpenShift and Rancher.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their application in cloud environments.
•  Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Experience working with clients in the telecommunications sector is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level).
