Job description, responsibilities and duties
The role of Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for the sourcing of all raw materials and the efficient use of those materials within Cresto Safety. Amongst other targets, key performance measures include:
Total inventory value
Meeting cost reduction targets
Delivery to promise
Purchase to forecast & plan
Supplier management & audits
Management of purchasing department in line with company principles & within the legal framework of Slovakia.
Management of this department requires planning and division of tasks, control of stock items, dealing with suppliers and other tasks directly or indirectly resulting from the position of manager of the department.
The main powers include independent decision-making on task assignment and planning purchases as well as decisions regarding personnel & budgets for the department in conjunction with HR and Head of Company.
This role cooperates with all other elements of the company to achieve the company targets.
The role reports to Head of Company and is based in the Cresto Safety facility in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
