Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti

We are looking for experienced Cloud Specialist, who will be part of a dynamic team that provides IT services to our customers worldwide. You will use your skills to deploy our measurement technology solutions on our customers' state-of-the-art cloud infrastructures. If you have a passion for innovative IT solutions, designing cloud infrastructures, and supporting business-critical applications, you've come to the right place!

Your tasks:

  • You plan, implement, and manage cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Amazon Web Services, or private cloud) for the operation of OMNIS Client/Server according to our customers' requirements
  • You develop and design cloud architectures that are scalable, reliable, secure, and performant
  • You are familiar with best practices for high availability and disaster recovery in the cloud and can advise our customers accordingly in projects and implement them on behalf of the customer
  • You provide support for technical problems related to the customer's cloud infrastructure
  • You train and coach team members, administrators, and end users on cloud best practices

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable practical education in the computer science environment Ideally,
  • You have one or more relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
  • You are familiar with MS SQL databases and their cloud services (e.g. SQL Managed Instance, Amazon RDS)
  • You have practical experience in script creation (e.g. with PowerShell, ARM Scripts)
  • You have relevant practical experience in planning, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures
  • Your very good English skills make problem-solving sessions or conducting training sessions with customers in English no problem for you
  • You have very good communication and teamwork skills, which is why you enjoy direct contact with customers in your projects
  • You are used to working independently and are familiar with the IT project business from many years of experience
  • You are familiar with IT change and operational processes. IT service management models such as ITIL V4 are not foreign words to you.
