Job description, responsibilities and duties
Work with team to embed and reinforce Agile practices.
Identify and remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the progress of the team and delivery. Help the team identify and address any issues or risks that may affect the successful completion of the sprint. This could involve anything from resolving conflicts within the team to coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and execution.
Implement and adapt the Software Development Lifecycle in cooperation with team, IT Ops and Product Owner. Ensure manageable distribution of workflow within the team.
Support the facilitation of Agile events. Ensures that Agile events (such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives) are conducted effectively and efficiently. Helps the team understand the purpose of each event and guide them in following the Agile values and principles.
Measure and monitor the progress of the team during each sprint and ensures that the team is on track to achieve its sprint goals. Enable team to track progress and output through dashboards (e.g., burn-down charts) and other reporting systems and maintain relevant metrics and artefacts.
Cultivate the team’s self-organization capabilities, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Shield the team from external disruptions and unnecessary distractions, allowing them to focus on their work during the sprint.
Ensure that decisions are made within the team, encouraging, and supporting team members to assume responsibility for their decisions.
Support and promote an effective feedback culture based on the Agile values. Provide constructive feedback to the team to help continuously improve.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the team. Encourage the team to reflect on their processes and practices. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to make their process more effective.
Communication and collaboration between the team, Product Owner, tribe leader and Agile coach. They ensure that communication between these parties is effective and that common goals are achieved. They also promote collaboration among team members and ensure positive team dynamics.
Support Product Owners to review, manage and prioritize the Product Backlog.
Coordination between IT Ops, Product Owner and team to ensure on-time delivery.
