The Digital & Technology department (D&T Re) is globally responsible for delivering solutions building and running our business. We are diverse team of experts who are passionate in providing innovative solutions for our reinsurance business. We are currently investing in building strategic data management capabilities to ingest and harness key data sets across prioritized business blocks especially in Property & Casualty (P&C).

If you join us, you will be able to participate in a variety of interesting initiatives. For example, you will:

Work with Business SME's and ML Engineers to develop automated/semi-automated data extraction solutions for pricing data from structured & semi-structured sources.
Perform analysis to enable analytics around extracted P&C pricing data.
Support many other exciting projects in a collaborative environment with colleagues from Swiss Re's international offices.

About the role:

-Collaborate with the Product Owner and Product Area Lead
-Translate business terminology into technical language and vice versa.
-Support resolution of operational incidents and defects
-Rationalize and challenge requirements and processes together with the business to drive focus on high value improvements.
-Write clear and concise requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring that requirements are unambiguous, complete, consistent, and verifiable.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

-Proven experience with business analysis or requirements engineering.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with orientation to detail
-Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
-Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and re-prioritize around changing organizational objectives and timelines.
-Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as within a global team.

Additional advantages

-Experience with Re-/Insurance, especially Property & Casualty (Re)insurance
-Exposure to agile development approaches (e.g., Scrum) and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence
-Technical experience with Data Validations/Transformation/Enrichments using Python. Demonstrated ability with advance Excel features like Pivots, conditional formatting etc.
