Market Intelligence Intern (for Master’s students)

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. The Market Intelligence Intern will be responsible for strategic marketing deliverables in collaboration with other Market Intelligence team members, who are part of the larger Pharma Services Marketing organization.

What will you do?

· Develop a broad understanding of the Thermo Fisher Scientific brand, the pharmaceutical industry, the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) landscape including, but not limited to, services, markets, competitors, etc.”

· Support market research projects including identifying emerging trends relevant to the industries we serve, competitive intelligence, and macroeconomic trends

· Assists with producing, analyzing and interpreting data in a timely manner

· Update and manage market intelligence data sets for the build out of Power BI dashboards for the most recent time-period, also developing those dashboards.

· Create PowerPoint and other documents including reports and present or assist in presenting findings to internal stakeholders

What are we looking for?

· Pursuing master’s degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related field

· Interest in conducting market research, competitive intelligence and data analysis

· Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills required, especially Excel

· Python skills preferred

· Excellent English communication skills verbal and written (B2 and higher)

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

· Willingness to learn, be mentored and improve
