Job Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist will purchase goods and services according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures, supporting the global category team as well as regional teams located in APAC, EMEA, America in particular

The Sourcing Specialist Professional will “own” the goal of making the best purchase decisions with respect to the needs of internal customers, the economics of the purchase, and the policies of the business.
• Evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history
• Works with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts, and other available discounts
• Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions
• Maintains pricing histories and other vendor records
• Performs other related duties as assigned

What is expected to succeed:
• Support Procurement of indirect goods and services to meet specialized or complex needs
• Run e-sourcing decisions in accordance with company procedures and regulations
• Analyze purchase Sourcing requisitions and review for accuracy and completion
• Collaborate with Category Managers to Investigate and cultivate new sources for supplies and products and potential for Sourcing vs conventional sourcing methods
• Research and prepare Sourcing specifications
• Execute e-Sourcing events including automated e-Auction events with industry standard e-Sourcing tools
• Identify suppliers of goods and services, conducts analysis, supplier qualification, RFx’s, negotiation, contracting, and contract revision
• Communicate with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company
