Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

BUSINESS OPERATIONS:
To manage and analyze the market situation of certain commodity groups, competitors and vendors performance, analyze the commercial results and make proposals for business development;
To assess the existing product portfolio, evaluate and develop the portfolio of the company, aligning portfolio in accordance with the company strategy and guidelines provided by HQ;
Ensure attraction of new vendors and launching of cooperation according to the company's strategy;
To organize the signing of contracts between the company and suppliers and fulfill their obligations;
Ensure the establishment and maintenance of relationships with representatives of the strategic suppliers of the company;
Organize the preparation and maintenance of sales plans according to the procedures specified by the company;
Ensure effective procurement planning, product sales and profit plan implementation;
Ensure the circulation of information and cooperation between the departments, other affiliated structural units and the company's offices;
To examine and approve purchases from a group of products from manufacturers in accordance with the procedures specified by the company;
To represent the company according to the mandate.

PURCHASING DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT according to the company's strategy and values:
To plan and provide the staff resources of the department in accordance with the procedures and procedures specified by the company;
Participate in the closing stage of the selection of staff at the structural unit and carry out evaluation of candidates;
Ensure the design, management and implementation of projects and procedures - examine and approve applications for changes to the company's business systems and procedures;
To prepare proposals and make the necessary improvements to improve the efficiency of the department;
To perform other administrative tasks, including the approval of bonuses and leave, the approval of departmental expenses according to the procedures and procedures established by the company;
To identify the objectives and tasks of the Department employees according to the goals defined by the company and to evaluate the results of their implementation;
To perform annual and quarterly assessment of the work performance and competencies of the structural units, to determine the necessary development and training needs;
Manage Department and company business processes, procedures and systems;
Ensure the maintenance of documents in accordance with the structural unit nomenclature.
Other tasks according to direct manager's instructions.

Personality requirements and skills

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in the areas of Purchasing / Sales or similar fields & in people management (5 years)
  • Very good leadership skills, able not only to manage but also inspire and guide the team members
  • Active level of English language (written & spoken)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, experience with I6 is an advantage
  • Reliable, communicative, positive quick learner, who is able to plan and keep the deadlines & continuously work on increasing the expertise with the ability to organize others
