The Slovak Red Cross (Slovenský Červený Kríž) has a base of 34 branches across the country with more than 3,000 long-term volunteers. Slovak Red Cross (SRC) as organization with an auxiallary role to the state is providing wide range of its services, like humanitarian assistance including first aid, psychosocial support and providing child-friendly spaces; providing social services, particularly referral for services, including education, healthcare, health assessments, and referrals to clinical care; managing the collection and distribution of essential household items, food, water, and hygiene items.
